Silent Era · The Guardian
I've never written fiction. Using nothing but natural language to describe my vision, I directed AI step by step to create this work. This is an honest record of an outsider using AI to build a complete IP from zero.
World Overview
Year One of the Silent Era. Earth's first Expansion erupts — cities collapse, subterranean blue energy veins burst through the crust. In the moment his wife and daughter face certain death, Chen Mo awakens a Guardian Barrier: a pale-blue spherical space roughly 3 meters in diameter, protecting Lin Xiao and Chen Xiaoyu inside in deep hibernation.
Time flows differently across the barrier. Ten years pass outside; inside, roughly 3.65 subjective days elapse. Chen Mo is trapped between the barrier and the world, sustaining it with his life force — aging rapidly, his hair turning white, his body depleting — yet enduring across a decade through journals, sensory fragments, and ley-line resonance.
Volume 1 (The Decade Guardian) is complete at 50 chapters. The trailer production plan calls for 5 minutes 10 seconds, 44 shots, and 82 first-frame / animation production units. Video production is currently in the P3 / I2V batch-processing phase.
Characters
Chen Mo
32 years old. Warehouse keeper and maintenance worker.
Quiet, practical, stubborn. Doesn't see himself as a hero — just does what needs to be done. Forms the Guardian Barrier during the disaster, trading ten years of his life to buy time for his wife and daughter.
Visual anchors: Dark work uniform, ordinary tired face, white hair after ten years, hand tremors, tinnitus, visible aging.
Lin Xiao
30 years old. Substitute teacher at a rural Sichuan primary school.
Tough on the outside, soft within — spirited and sharp-tongued but deeply loyal. In hibernation through Volume 1. In Volume 2, she becomes an observer and recorder of the barrier, documenting her husband's vigil through hand-drawn charts.
Visual anchors: Light-colored clothing, shoulder-length black hair, dual identity as mother and observer.
Chen Xiaoyu
Two years old when sealed in the barrier. Ten years later, still in a two-year-old's body.
The night of the disaster, she fell asleep in her father's arms wearing pink bunny pajamas. Her body is still two — the barrier froze time. But she doesn't talk like a two-year-old. Every day she slept, her father wrote letters, spoke, talked to himself. Those words seeped into her dreams. When she woke, some words were already there — not learned, but steeped in.
Visual anchors: Pink bunny pajamas, round face with large eyes, an untaught precocity in her speech.
Dudu
Silver classic tabby American Shorthair. 8 years old before the disaster, 18 after.
Wanders the ruins outside the barrier for ten years, waiting. Not an anthropomorphized character — he is living proof of "home": no explanations, no expressions, just presence.
Visual anchors: Silver-grey tabby stripes, white patch on right hind paw, old scar on left ear, visible age, guardian's instinct.
